This is one of my favorite pictures of our three 'Big Dogs' that was taken after we reached the summit of  Bernard Peak. From left to right: Ariel, Teddy, and Bogey. Ariel and Bogey are now playing in doggy heaven and we miss them with all of our hearts.  Teddy is still with us and very grudgingly puts up with the Frenchie Clan. He likes to make us think they are a bother but we often catch him playing and snuggling with them...don't tell him we told!!

Here is a picture from our back porch; the Idaho Palouse is stunningly beautiful and we feel very blessed to be living here.

Jed and I love the outdoors. We try to spend every moment we can out in nature's playground. This is a picture of Gold Creek in late summer; a very popular place for cow elk herds to bed down in the lush cedar forest. If you are quiet enough, you might catch a glimpse of the resident beaver or a mule deer.

A little about us and our family...

Pictured here are our two feline family members, Winston and Gixxer. Gixxer was raised by us from birth as his mother died just after giving birth to him and his sister. Winston showed up in the hay barn one day looking mangey and hungry. After several cans of tuna he decided to stay.  Winston just recently passed away and is chasing mice in kitty heaven. Gixxer is still wreaking havoc among the dogs and doing his best to catch our resident squirrel.
